What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. It lets the site remember something about your visit, such as whether you have already closed a notice or which page you came from. Cookies are not programs and they cannot run code or read other files on your device.
Snoravi uses cookies in a limited way. We do not need them to show you the pages, and you can read every part of this site with cookies turned off.
Cookies we set ourselves
The first-party cookies are the ones that come directly from snoravi.com.
- Consent cookie - records whether you accepted or declined the cookie notice on the homepage, so we do not show it again on every visit. It stays for up to twelve months.
- Form session cookie - keeps your entries in a booking or enquiry form while you move between form fields. It expires when you close the browser.
- Load-balancing cookie - keeps a single visit on the same server so a form does not reset halfway through. It expires at the end of the session.
None of these cookies are used to build a profile of you or to deliver advertising.
Cookies from other services
Some pages include content from other companies, and those companies may set their own cookies.
- Map embed - the contact page shows a Google Map, and Google may set cookies to remember your map preferences and language.
- Style and icon libraries - fonts and icons load from content delivery networks, which may record the request for caching and security purposes.
These third-party cookies are controlled by those providers under their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control what they set or how long they keep it.
Analytics and advertising
Where we run analytics, we prefer a setup that reports page counts without storing a persistent identifier on your device. If we ever add advertising or remarketing tags, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before any tracking cookie is placed. At present, Snoravi does not run advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.
How to manage your cookie choices
You can accept or decline cookies through the notice on the homepage. Declining stops the non-essential cookies from loading. You can also clear cookies that are already stored, and block them in future, through your browser settings.
- Chrome - Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies.
- Safari - Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
- Firefox - Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge - Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking all cookies may stop a booking form from holding your entries, but you can always ring the counter on 07 3842 9176 and we will take the booking over the phone.
Changes and contact
If we add or remove a cookie, this page is updated and the change is dated on the site. Check back occasionally if you want to know exactly what is being stored.
For any question about cookies or the data we hold, email snoravi@hotmail.com or write to Snoravi, 451 Sherwood Road, Rocklea QLD 4106, Australia. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
